WebFor myself, I find that in a crisis I use freezer socks. I have a pair of dampened socks in the freezer and when I'm progressing out of (or spiraling in) the sympathetic nervous system zone to the dorsal vagal zone I put them on for 15min or so and wrap them up in a towel.
