I have a YJ with a 350, NV4500, Atlas 2, Dynatrac (overpriced) 60's. So no problem pushing the tires. I have about 1'' shackle lift, 1.5 Leaf spring lift, and SOA and expected some trimming. So I'm looking at 6-7"of lift.

I 4wheel with gladiators with 35s and a Mopar lift, and my 37s with a 3.5" lift give me a lot more clearance and capabilities. Regarding stress, It is not so much the size, but, the weight of the tires and wheels that stress the drive train.

If you are a mostly street and mild trails - 4.88 will be fine. It will be the equivalent of a stock 4.10 Rubicon on stock 32 inch tires, around 2500 rpm at 70. The 5.13 jump up to around 2700 rpm.
